Burbank Council PTA proudly hosts our free Parent to Parent (P2P) Forums as a way to present wisdom from experienced parents on hot topics relevant to our Burbank Unified families. Below are information and materials from our past and upcoming forums.

Executive Functioning
Join us for our digital webinar on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM featuring Dr. Peg Dawson, the co-author of "Smart But Scattered" and "Smart But Scattered Teens", as we learn more about the executive functioning skills and smarter study skills for your child. Get more information about improving executive skills in children from K to 12th grades.
Screenagers
Our January 2026 P2P Forums featured a screening of two version (one focused on Middle and High School and one for Elementary School) of the "Screenagers" on separate evenings. Screenagers is a documentary film created by Delaney Ruston that explores how screen time, smartphones, social media, and digital technology affect children, teenagers, and families. After each screening, a forum was hosted to talk about tech readiness and screentime as it relates to children.
