Parent to Parent Forum | Middle School & High School Classes: Are We Making the Right Choices?

What are the pros and cons of having your student take early morning Spanish in middle school?  Take the wheel or another elective? What are the pros and cons of having your student take advanced math, English or history (GATE/AP classes)? Should they take summer classes to get ahead?  Can they take advanced classes and still participate in extracurricular activities?  How much homework is really involved?  Can they do it all? Choosing classes has a BIG impact on your student, their homework load, their extracurricular activities, and their post-high-school choices (college or not). These decisions can be daunting.

Come and join the discussion on Wednesday, January 23rd, and hear from parents who have been there!  Our panelists are parents who have experience with these questions and others.  Their situations may be different from yours, but we can discuss and learn together.

This Parent to Parent forum is designed for parents of students from 5th grade through high school.

Babysitting will be provided.
